DPS Rudrapur Hosts CBSE Capacity Building Program on ‘Kaushal Bodh’ for Classes VI–VIII

Delhi Public School, Rudrapur proudly hosted the CBSE Capacity Building Program on ‘Kaushal Bodh’ on 21 November 2025, focusing on the implementation of the NCERT vocational studies curriculum for Classes VI to VIII.

With over 90 participants, including principals, directors, managers, and teachers from various schools, the workshop was conducted by esteemed resource persons Ms. Prachi Somani and Ms. Shree Chakraborty.

The Kaushal Bodh initiative, launched by the Delhi Directorate of Education and aligned with NEP 2020, aims to build practical life skills in students across three key domains:

• Work with Life Forms

• Work with Machines and Materials

• Work in Human Services

Through hands-on activities, real-life tasks, and collaborative learning, the program helps students develop essential 21st-century skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.
It also promotes experiential exposure through ‘Kaushal Melas’, where students showcase their innovative projects and demonstrations.
