English Week: Day 1
The English Department of the Delhi Public School, Rudrapur started celebrating English Language Week: ENGLISH FIESTA from 2 May to 7 May 2022.
Today was the first day of the celebration and an  introduction for the same was shared in the assembly.
Information regarding the Indian authors who had won the Booker Prize was shared through the  Public Address system on Day 1. A vocabulary word and a thought was also added in their mental dictionaries via the soft board.
The school buzzed with a range of funfilled and exciting activities and competitions such as Spell Bee, Show & Tell, Quizzes and many more.
From books to stage, knowledge to expression, from reel to real, day one of the event had it all. The gaiety, excitement and love for the English language was  shown by the children  while participating in these activities.
Kudos to the department and the children for such an enthralling beginning of the celebration.
We thank our honorable Chairman, Shri Surjit Singh Grover Ji for providing us such an amazing platform to enrich the students and foster a love for different languages in them.
