Activity-based learning is a disruptive innovation in education that can transform teaching and learning.
Delhi Public School, Rudrapur organized an interactive session for the teachers and students studying in classes VI to XII on Saturday July 9, 2022. The resource person Mr. Jaswinder Singh shared that science and maths are really interesting subjects. He also motivated students by sharing some tricks to solve complex calculations.
For teachers also he had a lot many creative ways where the teaching staff agreed that instead of transmitting information to the student as is commonly done in a lecture, activity-based learning provides students a way to experience and interact with ideas and information. Because activity-based learning connects students with real world practical problems, it increases student engagement. Activity-based learning is generally convenient, easy to use, and can be constructed from traditional teaching methods, aligning and blending with pre-existing education pedagogy, competency mapping and assessment. Activity-based learning is modular and creates opportunities for meaningful collaborative work.
We are honoured to have Chairman Shri Surjit Singh Grover for providing such boosters in the form of workshops.
