Harela festival marks the importance of the environment and the need for the conservation of the green cover.

The tiny tots of Classes II to V celebrated the onset of monsoon in the premises of DPSR, in the presence of Special Guests, Mr Divaker Pandey, President, Bar Association Rudrapur, Dr. Ashutosh Pant

The dipsites performed kumaoni folk dances and sang in the traditional attires, emphasizing the importance of Harela festival to make children familiar with the culture of Kumaon Region.
