The world witnessed the Solar Eclipse on 25 October and the school invited Dr. Virendra Yadav, a scientist at Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), located at Nainital to make the students aware about such phenomenon activities in the solar system. ARIES is an autonomous institute under the Dept. of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India specializing in the field of Astronomy & Astrophysics and Atmospheric Sciences research.

The interactive session was conducted for the students of classes 6-8 and Dr Yadav shared insights and unique information about space, stars, celestial bodies and how these eclipses happen.

The students asked variety of questions related to the topic and we're happy that the school invited the Resource Person from ARIES. He cleared many myths and misconceptions related to Solar & Lunar eclipses which would help the students in their life long learning.
