An orientation session for the Standards Club, hosted by the Bureau of Indian Standards at Delhi Public School- Rudrapur, covered a variety of topics related to standardization and quality control.
DPSR has established Standards Club in the premises which helps in nurturing the ambassador of Standards Club. Firstly, the session started with the introduction of the club by the resource person Mr. B.C. Joshi, Manager, Prakash Pipes, Kashipur who cleared the concept of standards and their importance in various fields. The speaker explained how standards help ensure safety, reliability, and quality in products, services, and processes.
Mr. Joshi provided an overview of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and its role in setting and enforcing standards in India. He explained how BIS works with industry, government, and other stakeholders to develop and promote standards across various sectors.
The Standard Club organised Standard Writing Activity wherein our students of class IX to XII participated actively. 
Our young and talented, Suhani Kakkar of Class XI and Kanika Dharmshaktu of Class X secured the 1st position. 
The second position was bagged by Itika Aggarwal of class IX, Lakshika Juneja of class X and Advika Dhingra of class IX. We are delightful to announce the achievements and the new beginning. 
We are extremely grateful to our Hon'ble Chairman Sir, Shri Surjit Singh Grover ji for providing us a new platform to showcase our students' talent and skills.
