Dr. R P Singh, Joint Secretary, Skill Development, CBSE visited DPS-Rudrapur and had discussion with the Chairman, DPS-Rudrapur, Shri Surjit Singh Grover to start the Skill Development Centre in the school in the coming months. 
Dr Singh appreciated the efforts and initiatives taken by the school to foster the needs of the 21st century learners and commended the Management for implementing the provisions of NEP-2020 in letter and spirit. 
He also commended the school for having all the facilities and infrastructure for the overall personality development of students and to make them global citizens. Further, he said that the school is way ahead from traditional schools which still insist on imparting textbook knowledge. It is a school which focuses on experiential learning and competency based education for the holistic development.
The Chairman DPS-Rudrapur, Shri Surjit Singh Grover extended heartfelt gratitude to Dr R P Singh for confirming to start the Skill Development Centre at DPS-R and for extending all support and cooperation from CBSE.
