Siya ke Ram Ram Leela Celebration DPS Rudrapur
On the evening of October 21, 2023, Delhi Public School Rudrapur hosted a magnificent cultural extravaganza titled 'Siya Ke Ram.' The event was a celebration of the epic Indian mythological tale, the Ramayana, and it brought to life the timeless story of Lord Rama, Sita, and their epic journey.
The evening commenced with a warm and hearty welcome to all our esteemed guests Mr Kotaro Ueda,(Managing Director, Co-CEO, Benesse India), Dr Manjunath T C (SSP-Udham Singh Nagar), Mr. Manoj Katyal (SP-Udham Singh Nagar), Mr. Vivek Srivastav (G M Sugar Mills), Ms Meena Deopa (Additional District Judge), Mr Manoj Katyal (SP-Udham Singh Nagar), Mr. Anil Sinha (Asst. Commissioner Sales Tax-GST), Mr. Sunil Mishra (Income Tax Officer), Dr Pradeep Adlakha (MD- Narayana Hospital & Trauma Centre) and other dignitaries who graced the event with their presence. The school’s senior courtyard was beautifully illuminated, setting the stage for an enchanting evening.

The Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and the significance of 'Siya Ke Ram' in our lives. The Principal's words resonated with the audience, setting the tone for the evening.
Ganesh Vandana, a soulful invocation to Lord Ganesha, was performed, seeking his blessings for a successful and harmonious event. The cultural presentation of 'Siya Ke Ram' then began with enthralling performances, starting with 'Ram Siya Ram,' followed by 'Ram Janam,' 'Sita Janam,' and 'Gurukul Shiksha,' showcasing the formative years of Lord Rama.
The enactment of 'Tarka Vadh' and 'Swayamvar' depicted the heroic and valorous side of Lord Rama, captivating the audience with their extraordinary performances.
Guests were privileged to witness a thought-provoking speech by a distinguished guest, who shed light on the timeless lessons and wisdom embedded in the Ramayana.
The storyline of the epic continued with 'Vanvaas,' 'Nishaad Raaj,' 'Panchvati,' and 'Shoorpnakha,' showcasing the challenges faced by Lord Rama and Sita during their exile. The event took a dramatic turn with the entry of 'Raavan' and the intense 'Sita Haran' scene, which left the audience in awe of the performers' skills and the grandeur of the production. 'Baal Kand,' 'Bali Vadh,' 'Sankat Mochan,' 'Sunderkaand,' 'Inderjeet,' 'Ravan Vadh,' and 'Agni Pariksha' depicted the epic battles and trials that defined the later part of the Ramayana.
The culmination of the event was the 'Rajyabhishek' scene, symbolizing the triumphant return of Lord Rama and the establishment of his righteous rule.
The event was blessed with the presence of the Hon’ble Chairman Shri Surjit Singh Grover, who delivered his inspiring words, encouraging the audience to carry forward the timeless values and lessons of 'Siya Ke Ram' in their lives.
