Gurpurab Celebrations at Delhi Public School, Rudrapur
"Spreading the Light of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Teachings – Unity, Compassion, and Spirituality!"
Delhi Public School, Rudrapur, celebrated Gurpurab with great devotion and enthusiasm on Saturday, 16 November 2024.
The event began with a warm welcome of the guests, followed by an introductory speech highlighting the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Students performed a soulful rendition of the Shabad ‘Hou Qurbane Jao,’ followed by a heartfelt welcome address by the Principal, emphasizing the importance of values like unity and compassion. The Prabhat Pheri spread the message of peace and spirituality, while the Shabad ‘Banje Zindagi Da’ added to the occasion's solemnity.
The teachers’ recital of Shabads and Anand Sahib was deeply inspiring. The event concluded with the Ardas, Shukrana, and an address by the Chairman Shri Surjit Singh Grover Ji, who reflected on the relevance of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings.
Mementos were presented to honor the occasion, making it a spiritually enriching day for all.
