"Igniting Creativity, Inspiring Innovation: Building a Sustainable Tomorrow!"
The BIS Club at Delhi Public School, Rudrapur, organized an engaging and thought-provoking Poster-Making Competition for students on Friday, 24 January 2025. The theme for the competition was “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,” aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 9, which emphasizes building resilient infrastructure, promoting sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various classes. The young artists showcased their creativity and vision, highlighting the importance of technological advancements, sustainable industrial growth, and innovative solutions for global challenges.
Students depicted their ideas using vibrant colours, innovative designs, and powerful messages. Their posters showcased futuristic industries, eco-friendly infrastructure, and imaginative solutions to global issues such as climate change, resource management, and urbanization. The competition served as a platform for students to blend their artistic skills with critical thinking on issues of global importance.
The event was judged by Mr. Deepak Kumar Pandey, Certified Lead Auditor, Empanelled Auditor in BIS for QMS, EMS & OHSMS, who evaluated the posters based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall presentation. The winners were:
1st Prize: Adit Sachan, Grade IX, won a cash prize of Rs 1000.
2nd Prize: Divya Khushwah, Grade XI, won a cash prize of Rs. 750.
3rd Prize: Anabia, Grade X, won a cash prize of Rs. 500.
Consolation Prize: Manjot, Grade X, won a cash prize of Rs. 250.
The management congratulated all participants for their outstanding efforts and emphasized the importance of fostering innovation and sustainability in the younger generation. The competition concluded with a sense of accomplishment and inspiration among the students, encouraging them to contribute towards a sustainable and innovative future.
