Earth Day Celebration – Vrakshabandhan Activity
*Grade: 3 | Delhi Public School, Rudrapur
To commemorate Earth Day, the students of Grade 3 at Delhi Public School, Rudrapur enthusiastically participated in the “Vrakshabandhan” activity. As a heartfelt gesture of their commitment to the environment, the young learners tied handmade rakhis to trees, symbolizing a bond of love, care, and protection towards Mother Nature.
The highlight of the celebration was the *Oath-Taking Ceremony*, during which students pledged to safeguard the Earth by planting more trees, conserving water, reducing waste, and maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings.
The activity not only enhanced the students’ awareness about the importance of trees but also instilled in them a sense of responsibility to become eco-conscious and proactive citizens.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Honorable Chairman, *Shri Surjit Singh Grover Ji*, for his constant encouragement and for providing a lush green campus that inspires students to stay connected with nature.
