"Exploring the Future of Science: DPS Rudrapur Students Dive into Biotechnology at UCB"
On 15th July 2025, the Biology students of Grades XI and XII from DPS Rudrapur visited the Uttarakhand Council of Biotechnology. The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to explore cutting-edge advancements in the field of biotechnology.
Students toured the research facilities and biotech labs, where they interacted with scientists and learned about real-world applications in agriculture, healthcare, and environmental conservation. They witnessed live demonstrations of techniques such as DNA extraction and PCR, which deepened their conceptual understanding of recombinant DNA technology.
Interactive sessions made complex scientific ideas more accessible, sparking curiosity and critical thinking among students. The experience was not only educational but also inspiring, encouraging many to consider future careers in biotechnology and scientific research.
