The 1st DPS Veterans Badminton Tournament – 2025 began today with a spectacular opening ceremony at Delhi Public School, Rudrapur.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri Narendra Singh Jangpangi, IRS, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Haldwani, who declared the tournament open with inspiring words for all players. The ceremony was graced by Special Guests Shri Trilok Singh Panchal, Deputy Commissioner Income Tax, Haldwani; Shri Manoj Singh Dharamshaktu, Deputy Commandant – CISF; and Shri Gautam Kathuria, whose presence added great pride to the occasion.
Players from across Uttarakhand have gathered to compete in Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Categories across various age groups – proving that passion for the game knows no age limit!
The morning was filled with energy, pride, and sportsmanship as Chairman Shri Surjit Singh Grover Ji and Vice Chairman Shri Harman Singh Grover Ji extended a warm welcome and best wishes to all participants.
