Under the exceptional leadership of Shri Rajeev Mehta, Secretary of Asian Fencing, the initiative to host the Asian Cadet Cup India 2025 in Uttarakhand was a resounding success.
The Asian Cadet Cup India 2025, hosted at Manaskhand Hall, Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium, Haldwani, turned into a grand festival of international sportsmanship, pride, and unity.
The five-day fencing extravaganza, beginning from 19 September, witnessed the participation of over 200 young cadets from 13 Asian countries, including India, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Syria, and many more — making it a true celebration of global talent and friendship.
The Opening Ceremony was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami ji, while the Closing Ceremony was graced by Smt. Rekha Arya ji, Hon’ble Minister of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand.
This prestigious event was made possible under the inspiring leadership of Shri Surjit Singh Grover ji, Chairman, Delhi Public School Rudrapur & President of the Fencing Association of Uttarakhand, whose vision and commitment ensured flawless hosting of this international championship. His tireless efforts, along with the dedicated support of the association members, turned this event into a memorable milestone for Uttarakhand.
A special mention goes to Shri Rajeev Mehta ji, Secretary General of the Fencing Association of India, whose dynamic guidance and organizational acumen brought the entire championship to life on such a grand scale.
