Gurpurab Celebration at DPS Rudrapur
"ਏਕ ਨੂਰ ਤੇ ਸਭ ਜਗ ਉਪਜਿਆ, ਕੌਣ ਭਲੇ ਕੋ ਮੰਦੇ।"
(From one light, the whole world was created; so who is good and who is bad?)
With deep reverence and devotion, Delhi Public School, Rudrapur celebrated Gurpurab on November 3, 2025, in the school auditorium, spreading the divine message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji — peace, humility, and service to humanity.
The celebration commenced with the recitation of the Mool Mantra followed by a soulful Shabad Kirtan by the school choir, creating an aura of serenity. Students presented an enlightening skit on the teachings and life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, beautifully portraying the values of equality, compassion, and truth.
We were honoured by the presence of esteemed guests from the Gurudwara Prabhandhak Committee —
Sardar Joginder Singh Ji (President), Sardar Gurmeet Singh Bathla Ji (Vice-President), Sardar Ajmer Singh Ji (Treasurer), and Sardar Harjeet Singh Virdi Ji (Vice-Secretary) — with special thanks to Sardar Harvinder Singh Ji.
Our Principal addressed the gathering, encouraging students to embrace Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s timeless teachings in their daily lives.
Our Honourable Chairman, Shri Surjit Singh Grover, extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to all on this sacred occasion, inspiring everyone to follow the path of wisdom, compassion, and excellence. He also urged parents to motivate and encourage children to participate in school activities, especially games and sports, for their physical and mental well-being.
The event concluded with the distribution of Kada Prasad, leaving everyone with a sense of peace and devotion.
A heartfelt thanks to Chairman Sir for nurturing in our students a deep connection to their culture, values, and spirituality.
May the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji continue to guide us towards truth, love, and harmony.
