A Special Assembly on Chaar Sahibzade (Veer Bal Diwas) was held today in the premises of Delhi Public School Rudrapur to commemorate the supreme sacrifice and unparalleled bravery of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, known as the Chaar Sahibzade.
The students of the middle school were enlightened about the inspiring history of these young brave souls and were briefed on the story of the Chaar Sahibzade, highlighting their unwavering faith, unmatched courage, and supreme sacrifice on the path of righteousness.
Sikhism honours the martyred sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji in the sacred prayer of Ardas for their valour and sacrifice as the Chaar Sahibzade—the four princes of the Khalsa warrior order.
During the assembly, students recited Shabads, narrated historical anecdotes, and shared the significance of the day, spreading a powerful message of courage, devotion, and moral strength. Through this meaningful assembly, students were sensitised about their duties and responsibilities towards society and the nation.
The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman, Shri Surjit Singh Grover, for providing such inspiring platforms where students grow morally and build strong character. The school also expresses sincere gratitude to the parents for joining the assembly and making the occasion meaningful.
