HARELA CELEBRATION 2026 | Grade I Assembly

Celebrating Nature, Culture and New Beginnings

Delhi Public School, Rudrapur celebrated the vibrant festival of Harela with a heartwarming assembly presented by the students and teachers of Grade I in the school auditorium. The celebration beautifully reflected the rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand while spreading the message of environmental consciousness, prosperity and new beginnings.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by a series of captivating performances. The students enthralled the audience with a graceful Yoga Performance, an energetic Skating Performance, and a traditional Harela Pujan, where grandparents offered prayers and blessings for the healthy growth, happiness and bright future of their grandchildren. Our young anchors confidently highlighted the significance of the Harela festival, while the vibrant folk dances including Isht Dev Stuti, Choliya and Jhoda showcased the timeless traditions of Uttarakhand.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of our Respected Vice Chairman, Shri Harman Singh Grover Ji, who blessed the students with his inspiring words and appreciated their confidence, enthusiasm and outstanding performances.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to our Respected Chairman, Shri Surjit Singh Grover Ji, for his visionary leadership and unwavering guidance, and to our Respected Vice Chairman, Shri Harman Singh Grover Ji, for his constant encouragement, inspiring support and commitment towards nurturing young minds with values, excellence and cultural pride.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated teachers for their tireless efforts in making this celebration a memorable success, and to our parents and grandparents for their enthusiastic participation, valuable presence and continued trust in the DPS Rudrapur family.

The celebration concluded with heartfelt appreciation from parents and guests, who applauded the students for their discipline, confidence, cultural spirit and remarkable performances.
