This is to share with you that the students of DPS-Rudrapur participated in the 17th Edition of Dahrohar-An Inter School Group Dance Competition organised by Gurukul International School, Haldwani on 2 December 2023. 

With immense pleasure this is to share that Delhi Public School -Rudrapur secured 1st Postion in the competition and received a Cash Prize of Rs 5100/- as well. 

The competition witnessed participation of 17 other schools across the region with variety of Folk Dances of our country and our school was declared as the CHAMPION which performed Jogba, the folk dance of Maharashtra.

Shaaz Mallik and Tanishq Maurya of grade XI won Silver Medal in Under 17 Boys Doubles Table Tennis Championship. 

Whereas, Aarav Arora and Vansh Sahni of grade 7A bagged Bronze Medal in Under 14 Boys Doubles Table Tennis Championship.

Dipsites are overjoyed with their victory and wishing them all the best for their upcoming ventures and competitions.

Games & Sports are the integral part of our school. Sport is certainly an excellent tool to build self confidence. Pragati Dangi of class IX of DPS, Rudrapur, has qualified for the 64th National Shooting Championship held in Delhi. Pragati Dangi will certainly bring pide to the country and the state in the upcoming World Championship or Olympics if gets selected.

The Championship saw participation from different states of the country in which Pragati brought laurels to the State of Uttarakhand by staying at the top. *Simarjeet Singh of Class VIII C* also participated in this championship and received appreciation.

Various programmes are organized from time to time to promote sports along with studies at DPS.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the school, Shri Surjit Singh Grover said that our aim is not to limit the students to bookish knowledge only. The motto of the school is holistic development of children.

Unless the students give their best in co-curricular activities, the all round development of the student cannot take place.
