Special Assembly held on 5th May 2022
Rendezvous With English
"Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going."
On the occasion of English Week celebration in Delhi Public School-Rudrapur from 2 May 2022 to 7 May 2022, The English Department of the Primary Wing conducted the special assembly on the theme English Language today.
The objective of the assembly was to make students familiar with the English literature and language.
The program started with the badge pinning ceremony of our honourable Vice-Chairman, Mr. Harman Singh Grover and other dignitaries.
The assembly was abuzz with a range of fun-filled presentations including thought, word of the day, literary facts, recitation, role play of renowned writers and poets, Rabindranath Tagore and Ruskin Bond, melodious English song by the choir.
From books to stage, knowledge to expression, from reel to real, the event had it all. The gaiety and excitement shown by the children by participating in their activities was the best reward for their teachers.
The program ended with the certificate distribution for Intra-Class Solo Dance Competition and sapling presentation to the birthday students.
Our Vice- Chairman, Mr. Harman Grover appreciated the efforts put by the dipsites and motivated them to keep on showcasing their talents.
Our Principal also shared his worthy words and applauded the students for their outstanding performances.
We are really grateful to our honourable Chairman, Mr. Surjit Singh Grover for providing us ample of opportunities to grow in the field of education.
