Event- Robotics Competition
"Hands on experience is the best way to learn about all the interdisciplinary aspects of robotics."
On 09 August 2023, Wednesday in Delhi Public School, an Interhouse Robotics competition was conducted where students of all houses showed their innovative skills and competency. Robotics Competitions provide the students a platform to showcase their knowledge to the world and compete with their peers which builds their competitive spirit and prepares them to face the world.
Today, all the houses displayed their projects in a quite innovative way.
Vindhya house showcased projects on Dam flood Alarm, Snake game and Water metal detector boat.
Aravali house presented laser light alarm, smart solar sensor digital boat. Shivalik house presented smart bus and smart dustbin where as Himalaya house presented models on security guard.
Robotics competitions improve students’ analytical skills and enable them to quickly evaluate and find solutions to the problems they encounter. Students who participate in such robotics competitions, in addition to developing better problem-solving skills, put abstract concepts into practice.
Students were judged on the parameters of Innovation
Creativity, team work, presentation and sustainability.
The result of the competition was as follows:
1. Shivalik House- Smart bus
2. Aravali House- Smart solar sensor
