“Technology is best when it brings people together.”
Delhi Public School, Rudrapur organised an ICT Quiz Competition. Information and communication technology not only enables modern computing but also improves the abilities of students in numerous areas, including medicine, education and even leisure activities related to sport, music and dance.
Keeping this in mind an ICT quiz competition was organized in which students of grade 4 participated with great enthusiasm.
The students of grade 4 proved their mettle and were chosen to represent their sections. The students were segregated in four teams, namely Team A, Team B, Team C and Team D based on their class sections. The quiz comprised three rounds: the Questionnaire Round, the Rapid-Fire Round, and the Buzzer Round. The Rapid fire round lifted the level of interest of not only the participants but also the audience.
The Buzzer Round was the culmination of the quiz, where participants had to be lightning-fast to buzz in with the correct answers. The room was charged with anticipation as all teams fought fiercely for the top spot.
The competition was tough and the children held their nerve and contested keenly. There were many questions for the audience also and this added to the fun at the contest. The students not only gained knowledge but also enjoyed answering the varied questions that were compiled for them.
Team A retained their lead with 60 points, closely trailed by Team B with 45 points.
The event fostered a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition among the teams, leaving all participants with cherished memories of an enjoyable ICT quiz.
