The grand event of the Investiture Ceremony of the School Council and the Scholar Badge Ceremony for academic achievers was held on May 22, 2024, at Delhi Public School Rudrapur with great zeal and fervor.
These ceremonies are pivotal in recognizing the leadership qualities and academic excellence of our students, fostering a sense of responsibility and motivation among them.
The Investiture Ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the special guests, Mrs & Mr Atul Bansal, MD-Rudrapur Institute of Technology, Dr. Sanjeev Suman, Associate Professor-College of Technology, G.B.Pant University, Pantnagar and Mr. Manoj Katyal SP Udham Singh Nagar along with Chairman of DPS Rudrapur Shri Surjit Singh Grover.
The highlight of the ceremony was the formal investiture of the newly elected members of the Student Council. The council members, representing the four houses – Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow – marched in with pride and confidence. Each member was adorned with their respective house badges and sashes, symbolizing their roles and responsibilities.
The oath-taking ceremony was a poignant moment, with the council members pledging to uphold the school’s values and work earnestly for the welfare of their peers and the institution.
Students who excelled academically over the past year were called on stage to receive their Scholar Badges.
In the address Mr Atul Bansal and Dr Sanjeev Suman appreciated the efforts of the school. They acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the students, teachers, and parents.
Shri Surjit Singh Grover, the Chairman of DPS Rudrapur emphasized on the importance of leadership and responsibility. He encouraged the students to lead by example and highlighted the excellent work being done on the students at Day Boarding and hostel of DPSR.
