Opening Ceremony of the Summer Camp at Delhi Public School*

The opening ceremony of the eagerly anticipated Summer Camp ‘Kheloge to Khiloge’ at Delhi Public School was held on Friday, 24 May 2024, in the school premises. The event was a grand affair, marked by enthusiasm and excitement from both students and staff.
The opening address was delivered by Principal who welcomed everyone and highlighted the importance of summer camps in fostering creativity, learning, and holistic development among students. He emphasized the camp’s diverse range of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, music, dance, and academic enrichment programs designed to engage and educate the students during the summer break.
The ceremony also featured a cultural program organized by the students, which included a vibrant dance performance and a melodious group song.
Following the cultural program, the camp coordinators provided a detailed overview of the camp schedule and introduced the resource persons for each activity:
- *Visual Art/Sculptures*: Mr. Manas Mathur, Ms. Nisha Rautela
- *Theater*: Mr. Ishan, Mr. Rahul
- *Photography*: Mr. Amdy, Mr. Sid
- *AI and Robotics*: Mr. Ravi
- *Adventure/Fun Activities*: Mr. Gaurav
- *Aeromodelling*: Mr. Majeti Kruthiik
- *Shooting*: Mr. Nakul
The students were divided into groups based on their age and interests, ensuring that each child could participate in activities best suited to their preferences and abilities.
As the students dispersed to their respective activity areas, the air was filled with excitement and anticipation for the adventures that the summer camp promised to bring.
The opening ceremony of the Summer Camp at Delhi Public School was a resounding success, setting the stage for a summer filled with growth, exploration, and joy.
The Chairman of DPS-Rudrapur, Shri Surjit Singh Grover conveyed best wishes to all the students and staff and said to enjoy each day and learn something new.
The camp will conclude on May 30.
