CBSE North Zone -1 Archery Championship Closing Ceremony held at DPS Rudrapur
Rudrapur, 17th September 2024 - The third day of the CBSE North Zone-1 Archery Competition held at Delhi Public School ,Rudrapur, was full of excitement and enthusiasm. Many dignitaries attended this prestigious event and encouraged the players over these three days.
Today was the third and last day of the competition which was graced by Mr. Pankaj Shukla, Chief Treasury Officer ,Udham Singh Nagar as the Chief Guest.The event witnessed the esteemed presence of other special guests - Dr. Amrita Sharma, Deputy District Magistrate ,Udham Singh Nagar, Mr. Manoj Katyal, SP Udham Singh Nagar, Colonel Kundan Sharma ,Commanding Officer ,78 NCC Battalion, Haldwani, Mr. Manoj Arora, Managing Director ,Ram Rajya Wire Industry, Rudrapur, Dr. Nagendra Sharma, Chief Sports Officer, Kumaon University, Nainital, Mr. Jugal Kishore Bamba,a renowned industrialist ,Mr. Rajendra Sridhar, close associate of Delhi Public School Family.
All the guests boosted the morale of the players and appreciated their dedication and commitment.They wished all the winning players for their bright future. In the entire competition, the players displayed extraordinary skills and attracted everyone's attention towards archery.
DPS Rudrapur clinched Overall Champions Trophy in the Under-19 Category, Amity International School, Sector 1 Vasundhara, Ghaziabad grabbed Overall Champions Trophy in the Under -17 Category and DSB, Rishikesh won Under -14 Champions Trophy in the CBSE North Zone 1 Archery Championship.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the school, Shri.Surjit Singh Grover ji expressed pride in the successful organisation of the competition.He thanked all the participants, their coaches and parents.At the end, he said that such events develop sportsmanship in students due to which qualities like self-confidence and discipline develop in them.
