Uniting Tradition and Education: DPS Rudrapur Presents Siya Ke Ram!
In order to preserve Indian culture and ancient tradition and to get lessons from the dignified life of Lord Shri Ram, a grand Ramlila themed Siya Ke Ram was organized in the premises of Delhi Public School, Rudrapur on 10 October. It is noteworthy that Delhi Public School, Rudrapur organizes programs related to Indian culture from time to time to keep the students connected with Indian culture and festivals.
The premiere of Siya Ke Ram was graced by hon’ble Mr. Sunil Khera, Deputy Advocate General High Court of Uttarakhand as the Chief Guest, and other special guests were hon’ble Mr. Neeraj Sharda, renowned Chartered Accountant and Financial Business Consultant, Managing Sharda & Sharda LLP Kathgodam, hon’ble Ms. Meena Deopa, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rudrapur, Hon’ble Dr. Amrita Sharma, Deputy Collector, Udham Singh Nagar, Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Dhiman, HOD Projects & Maintenance at Titan Co. Ltd Jewelry Division, Hon’ble Mr. Gautam Kathuria, MD Gautam Kathuria & Associates, Hon’ble Mr. Harnam Choudhary, renowned Chartered Accountant, Mr. Sunil Kumar Mishra, Income Tax Officer, and Mr. K.S Rawat, Chief Education Officer. All the esteemed dignitaries were welcomed by the Chairman of the school, hon’ble Shri Surjeet Singh Grover Ji in a traditional manner, showcasing the vision behind the event.
The Grand Ramlila at DPS Rudrapur began with a mesmerizing Shiv Tandav, followed by captivating episodes like Taraka Vadh, Swayamvar Vivah, Sita Haran, Sanjeevani Booti, Sunderkand, and the final Ravana slaughter, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness.
Chief Guest Shri Sunil Kumar Khera praised the initiative for preserving Indian culture and fostering students' all-round development. The Ramlila was more than a performance; it celebrated cultural roots and unity, connecting people of all ages.
Shri Surjeet Singh Grover Ji emphasized the importance of embracing Lord Rama's values and preserving ancient heritage to become Vishwaguru. The event concluded with mementoes presented to the esteemed guests and a heartfelt vote of thanks
