The Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) Club of DPS-Rudrapur organized a quiz competition on 19 November 2024 within the school premises. The event began with an inspiring address by the Principal, followed by a melodious rendition of the BIS theme song by club members. This was followed by an informative orientation session taken by the Resource Person from BIS, Mr. Deepak Kumar Pandey, who introduced the objectives and activities of the BIS Club.

The quiz competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from BIS Club members, who showcased their knowledge and secured commendable positions.

The results of the competition are as follows:

• 1st Prize: Vrinda, Class X, received a cash prize of Rs 1000.
• 2nd Prize: Aradhya Thapar, Class X & Shreyasi Roy, Class XI won a cash prize of Rs 750.
• 3rd Prize: Anvi Agarwal, Class X, earned a cash prize of Rs 500.
• Consolation: Zoya Iqbal, Class X, was awarded a cash prize of Rs 250.

In addition, all participants were presented with gifts and certificates of participation.

The BIS Club extends heartfelt gratitude to the Hon'ble Chairman Shri Surjit Singh Grover for providing a valuable platform to nurture the talents and skills of the students.
